Holiday Edition: Perfect Scents for Gifts

While the holiday season is upon us, it’s about time to start thinking about who and what you will gift. Whether you’re thinking of a gift to give a relative, loved one or someone who has just about everything they need. We’ve got you covered.

Scents are always a great gesture. And here’s why:

  • Scents are therapeutic. When certain scents are inhaled, the molecules travel from the olfactory nerves directly to the brain and impact the amygdala, known as the emotional center of the brain. And who wouldn’t want a gift like that?

  • People love to smell great.

  • Fragrances that smell good, make people feel good.

With that being said, scents make great gifts, however there are so many different types of scents. And so we thought why not suggest fragrances based upon the personality of the person.

RELATIVE

If you’re thinking about gifting a relative a fragrance for the holidays why not try a scent from our zodiac collection. If you find that this particular person is really into their horoscope then this might even be a bonus. Wearing a scent that was carefully crafted for your sign is special. Besides there’s nothing to lose, our zodiac collection is only available in travel size, which means this special person will have more than enough scented juice to sample the scent.

So you want to shop a scent for someone you really love, but not sure of knowing what scent they’ll enjoy. If you find that your partner has a small collection of fragrances (maybe 3-5) scents you don’t want to overwhelm them. It’s possible that they’re not big into change, but if they smell the right scent they may reconsider. If that’s the case you can play it safe. If you find that your partner has a bubbly personality and likes to go out often you can consider the Tux or Nicole fragrance. Both fragrances have similar fragrance notes. However, in my opinion the Tux fragrance has more of a masculine appeal than the Nicole. The Nicole fragrance has a sweet and citrusy aroma, while the Tux fragrance is a bold heavier and has more of a musk and fruity appeal to it.

If you find that your partner is the opposite and has a large fragrance collection (10+) then I’d consider grabbing our popular “It’s the fragrance for me” tees. Although this option may not particularly be a fragrance, it’s more so an experience. We suggest booking a DIY class. Although this person may have everything they could ever want and more, I guarantee they haven’t tried a DIY class. Whether it be in the comfort of your own home, or somewhere in between a DIY class is a great way to unwind, be creative and craft your stress away. Our DIY classes come in many varieties.
